Review

Following on from Batman Begins, director Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale reunite for The Dark Knight.

With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

One of the greatest films of all time without a doubt. All credit deservingly should go to the late Heath Ledger (personally I think I person never deserved an Oscar more) but I think Christian Bale is over shadowed by him, as he is without a doubt the best Batman ever to grace the screen. A truly remarkable film, in a couple of years it will be up there with Casablanca, Citizen Kane and The Godfather as one of the greatest films of all time.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars one of the best films of all time, bar none
